A Landscape of Emotions — City on the Beast Brutalist Surrealist Sculpture
A Landscape of Emotions — Sculpture for a Deeper Space.
A great beast moves. On its back, an entire city has been built — block upon block, tier upon tier, rising into a rough pyramid of metal-patinated chambers, each with its own doors, windows, rungs, and rings. A ladder leans against the side, scaling the impossible distance from ground to habitation. This is civilization carried on the back of nature. It is the oldest story, told in three dimensions, placed on your shelf.
🏛️ Artful Presence
A statement piece that transforms any space — the sheer scale of the composition — the mass of the animal body against the vertical ambition of the city above it — creates a presence that reorganises the room around it. Other objects recede. This one remains. It is the kind of piece that defines a collection rather than belonging to one.
✨ Crafted Details
Hand-finished textures for a more human story — the animal body carries the full geological weight of ancient stone: layered, cracked, and deeply textured. The city above it is rendered in aged metal — oxidised, worn, bearing the marks of use and time. A tiny gold flame flickers in one of the upper chambers. Rings and hooks hang from the walls. Each block is its own world. The closer you look, the more there is to find.
🏠 More Than Decor
It brings mood, meaning and character into your home — this piece does not ask to be understood immediately. It rewards long attention. It changes depending on where you look, what light falls on it, what hour it is. It is the piece in the room that people stop in front of, that starts conversations, that reveals something new every time.
Style It Your Way
Give it space — a wide console, a low sideboard, a deep shelf — so the full horizontal span of the animal body and the vertical rise of the city can be appreciated without compression.
Use raking side light to pull the texture of the animal body into sharp relief, while a warmer overhead light brings the city’s metallic surfaces to life with depth and shadow.
Let it anchor a larger arrangement of quieter objects — raw stone, unglazed ceramics, stacked books — that support rather than compete with its presence.
